The Ramayana is the classic story of Krishna Avatar S'rî Ram. This story was of the seventh advent of Lord Vishnu was recorded as the Ramayana by Rishi Valmiki upon direct inspiration of Lord Brahma Himself. The purpose of the Ramayana is to reveal the Path to Brahman Consciousnes for the benefit of everyone.

Even though the Ramayana may be found recorded in 24,000 slokas, and organized into seven books, the truth is the Ramayana is much more intimate than a collection of stories. The Ramayana is the living story of everyone's journey from ignorance to full enlightenment in Brahman Consciousness.
