Jyotish Consultation

Jyotish means light on the path - an invaluable gift from the Creator, Lord Brahma, that not only reveals to us the karma we carry, but also provides a means to rise above this web of karma to the realms of blissful life in Brahman Consciousness. Those who are seeking to improve their happiness and fulfillment in life are invited to enjoy the self-knowledge and keen insights of S'rî Vyuha Jyotish.

With the blessing of S'rî Vyuha, Guru Dev has given us a new and unique perspective on Jyotish that reveals the underlying esoteric meanings behind this ancient science of prediction.

S'rî Ganesha Invocation

S'rî Ganesh Invocation - S'rî Ganesha is that aspect of God who is the remover of obstacles. He is worshipped in the beginning of any auspicious performance for blessings. A unique combination of his elephant-like head and a quick moving, tiny mouse vehicle represents tremendous wisdom, intelligence, and presence of mind.

Mantra

Mantra is derived from the Sanskrit 'man' and means 'to think'. Mantra literally means 'instrument of thought'. A mantra is a hymn, chant or verse which possesses magical or divine power. Vedic mantras are divinely 'heard' (shruti) in consciousness and have their source in the Divine Consciousness of the Creator, Lord Brahma.

Vedic Mantras benefit those who chant them due to the resonance that is established between the chanter and the source of the mantra in the consciousness of Lord Brahma. Mantras are most effective when chanted or repeated silently with the least of effort, no more effort than one would use to think a common thought. When a mantra is repeated silently in this way it is possible for consciousness to transcend on the mantra and come into union with the Divine Source of the mantra.

In the S'rî Chakra Mahâ-Videha Programme, there are seven vedic mantras that are silently chanted to activate Brahman Consciousness and bring the mind into perfect accord with the Mind of Lord Brahma. The silent chanting of these mantras is sufficient to invoke Brahman Consciousness.

KoshasHow does this work? Human consciousness is a collection of states of consciousness which exist throughout the five koshas (physical and subtle bodies). Each organ has a collective consciousness own made of the consciousness of its individual cells. This collective consciousness allows it to perform functions specific to it. The various organ systems each have their own collective consciousness structured out of the consciousness of the individual organ components. The cardio-vascular system, the reproductive system and other systems have various organs or body parts working at slightly different stages of a single process. All these individual units of collective consciousness form the collective consciousness of the physical body. Similar functions and states of consciousness exist within each of the subtle bodies as well. Individual cell consciousness is overlaid by individual organ consciousness, which is overlaid by system consciousness, which is overlaid by the whole body collective consciousness, which is overlaid by subtle body counterparts and consciousness, and so ad infinitum.

S'rî ChakraThe S'rî Chakra is the web of consciousness within which all these collective consciousnesses exist. The âhamkara (ego) with its self-defined "I" ness assumes a pre-eminent state among the subtle din of random, semi-conscious thoughts which pulse through the koshas. And of course, our senses will perceive the vibration of other organisms nearby and be affected by that as well. The result is that there are innumerable vibrations present in the mind and koshas at any given time.

Mantras start a powerful vibration which corresponds to both a specific spiritual energy frequency and a state of consciousness in seed form. Over time, the mantra begins to override all of the other smaller vibrations, which eventually become absorbed by the mantra. After a length of time which varies from individual to individual, the great wave of the mantra stills all other vibrations. Ultimately, the mantra produces a state where the organism vibrates at the rate completely in tune with the energy and spiritual state represented by and contained within the mantra.

At this point, a change of state occurs and the organism becomes subtly but profoundly different. Just as a laser is light which is coherent in a new way, the person who becomes one with the state produced by the mantra is also coherent in a way which did not exist prior to the conscious undertaking of repetition of the mantra.

Before beginning to chant the S'rî Chakra Mahâ-Videha Mantras, you should first establish direct communication with your Âtman. Your Âtman has knowledge of your entire matrix of karma and will lead you safely through this self-created maze to the enlightenment of Brahman Consciousness.

To achieve the necessary purity to sustain Brahman Consciousness, one must gain relief form all the ungrounded energies and karma that dominate the mind and pull one this way and that, constantly keeping the attention either in the past or the future.

We only have a limited amount of energy (s'akti) which is usually scattered and weak. Like the sun, if you focus the rays of the sun using a magnifying lens, it is possible to start a fire. But without the use of a lens no fire will start. If we can focus our limited s'akti using the lens of the techniques of the S'rî Chakra Mahâ-Videha Programme, soon the power of consciousness will transmute these ungrounded energies and karma that stand between us and Brahman Consciousness.

The Âtmavedî Course provides a step-by-step program for establishing vital communication with your own Âtman and specific techniques for initiating the transmutation of ungrounded energies and karma.

Jai Guru Dev
