Guru Dev - For any spiritual teaching to be successful one needs to obtain the guidance, protection and grace from the Guru. The Guru is a teacher, guide, mentor and much more. The scriptures declare that the Guru is God and God is the Guru, i.e., the true Guru is always one who is in Brahman Consciousness.

Guru Dev means Teacher of all that is Divine. It is a title by which an individual refers to the one in Brahman Consciousness who has accepted responsibility for his or her life. Every person who is on the path of Brahman Consciousness has a Guru Dev

Kuja (Mars) is significant of energy, the form of energy that it assumes depending upon its position, aspects and location in the horoscope.

Manifests as hot, dry and masculine and has much to do with the ambitions, desires and animal nature.

KujaPeople ruled by Kuja are noticeably ambitious, positive and fond of leadership. Being quite inventive and mechanical, they become good builders and managers and usually make their way to the front in whatever they undertake. Being averse to the dictatorship of others and unhappy in subordinate positions, they usually find the best outlet for their special abilities when in business for themselves or in a positions where they can direct the work of others.

On the undeveloped plane they are the cruel boss, the domineering husband or masculine wife.

But when intelligently enlightened and spiritually inclined, they are excellent leaders and teachers and may be found at the foremost of movements for the advancement of public welfare.

For best results they require a great deal of fresh air, plenty of water, rest, sleep, music and abstinence from highly seasoned foods or stimulating beverages.
