S'rî Ganesha Invocation

S'rî Ganesh Invocation - S'rî Ganesha is that aspect of God who is the remover of obstacles. He is worshipped in the beginning of any auspicious performance for blessings. A unique combination of his elephant-like head and a quick moving, tiny mouse vehicle represents tremendous wisdom, intelligence, and presence of mind.

Religious Gods

When the object for a group of two or more human beings is to worship God, a religious god is formed. Every religion has an indra that answers the prayers of the members. The indra of a religion gains its power to answer prayers by the devotion of its members. When an individual joins a religion a two-way connection on the higher astral plane is made between the person's manomaya kosha and the indra of the religion.

When the connection is made between the individual and the religious god, there is a price to pay in terms of a flow of psychic energy from the individual to the god. The god stores this energy in a pool and sends a portion of it to aid members who pray for help. There is a direct relationship between the amount of aid that can come from the god to the member and the member's contribution of psychic energy to the god.

If the member is very devoted and constantly is thinking about the god, sending love to the god, and performing actions to glorify the god, that member will amass a larger pool of potential help through prayer than one who rarely participates in the religious activities. If the member with a large account prays for someone, even if that person is not a member, the god will take a portion of the member's "psychic energy account" and use the energy to answer the prayer and help the other person.

Also, a member may amass very large reserves of psychic energy in the god by participating in the religious activites over many lifetimes. When such an individual drops the physical body, there is often a very large "donation" of psychic energy to the god as the person leaves this plane thinking of the god.

Such a person may in this lifetime be said to have the "gift" of healing and be able to direct this large reserve of power to perform seemingly miraculous healings in the name of the god. Also, when this healer is speaking before audiences, the god is provided with more and more energy by the congregation and all of this energy is also made available to the healer. Anytime a person leads a congregation and thereby becomes responsible for providing energy to the god, that person amasses credits for future use.
